Who We Are

The Academy of Science and Social Science (ASSS) is an international, scholarly, professional organization. It is dedicated to promoting high standards and excellence in the creation and dissemination of scientific knowledge and the furtherance of scientific practice through a role of global leadership with its Science chapter and Social Science chapter. ASSS is constantly innovating and evolving, helping to shape the field of science and social science as well as keep abreast of the changing global ecosystem to help scientists and social scientists excel in their scholastic endeavors. The academy engineers itself to become the most credible science and social science resource where our members can stay relevant with knowledge, training and tools to enhance lifelong learning and obtain valuable information and connections. We are committed to the highest of ethical standards and collegiality in our pursuit to connect like-minded people, foster knowledge sharing, and support science and social science practice and thought leadership around the globe.

The academy publishes two international, open-access and double-blind peer-reviewed journals:

• Journal of Science (for the study and advancement of science);
• Journal of Social Science (for the study and advancement of social science).

The academy – through Frontiers in Science and Social Science – welcomes suggestions and collaborations for both broad and niche conference themes.

Mission Statement

The academy value activities that develop the knowledge and skills of science and social science academics and professionals, by providing a forum for networking and discussing research ideas and findings, encouraging the sharing of teaching best practices, and supporting the development of high quality curriculum. ASSS is a private for-profit organization founded in two zero one three and dedicated to the improvement of science and social science research, practice, and education. These goals are accomplish through various activities, recognition awards, and publications.

Target Audience

The primary target audiences for the academy are academics, educators, scientists and social scientists. The structure of the academy ensures that activities are produced in appropriate formats for these diverse audiences.
